EastEnders' Danielle Harold's 'best memories' amid Lola death as star reveals filming secret
ok.co.ukEastEnders has been a real tear jerker for TV viewers, gripped by the story of Lola Pearce battling her terminal cancer. And last night, as Lola prepared for her final weeks of life, she asked husband Jay to break her out of hospital for one final trip to the seaside in tear-jerking scenes.
As the newlyweds headed out to Margate for one final special day out, Danielle Harold – who plays Lola – shared a poignant picture from filming, labelling it her "best memories".
The 30 year old's snap showed her with actor Jamie Borthwick, who plays her husband Jay, looking lovingly at each other with the beautiful Margate beach in the background.
Alongside the picture, she said: "The best memories with the best crew" and added a red heart emoji. Jamie, 28, responded to the post in the comments sharing a filming secret at the same time. "If only everyone knew how much we moaned at getting in the sea at 8:30 in the morning," he said, along with a series of laughing emojis.
