A mum-of-three high on crack, heroin and booze led police on a 120mph car chase before smashing into a set of traffic lights.

Beautician Paige Thomason was disqualified and uninsured when spotted by cops before taking them on the high-speed pursuit on a busy motorway in Liverpool.

The 28-year-old was said to have "ticked almost every aggravating feature" of dangerous driving, according to The Echo. But a judge spared her jail and gave her the chance to sort her drug misuse and mental health issues.

A prosecutor said Thomason received a six-month "totting up" driving disqualification on June 27 last year. That was over two successive convictions for failing to say who was driving a car, during incidents in January and May.
