Bullets and drugs seized as four arrested during dawn raids by police investigating Manchester crime gangs

Officers in Stockport’s Operation Challenger unit, GMP’s City of Manchester District and GMP’s Tactical Aid Unit took action as part of an investigation into serious and organised crime across Greater Manchester.

A quantity of suspected class A drugs were seized from an address on Wellington Road South in Stockport and from an address on Mullacre Road in Wythenshawe.

Live ammunition was also seized from an address in Stockport. A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Two men aged 22 and 49 along with a 22-year-old female were also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
