Death in Paradise's Kris Marshall shares 'trepidation' over new series
ok.co.ukKris Marshall has opened up on his nerves ahead of the new series of Beyond Paradise. The show, which is a spin-off of BBC's Death In Paradise, is due to return to our screens very soon.
Following the successful first series last year, it was renewed for a Christmas special and a second series. With the full cast set to return to the fictional town of Shipton Abbott, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment.
Lead actor Kris, who plays DI Humphrey Goodman, spoke to OK! at the TV Choice Awards about his jitters ahead of the latest season, He said: "It's the first time I've done it, but when you do a spin-off of a show, and one as successful as Death In Paradise, there's a certain amount of trepidation.
I really hope this works out well. If it works out badly, it's not a great look for me." The star added that he enjoys filming in the Caribbean and the UK equally, despite the contrasting climates.
