However, the character will be sticking around a lot longer than Lilley does. That’s right, Theresa will be back in action in Salem, as Lilley has been recast for an upcoming arc.Jen Lilley announced her return to daytime TV when she revealed she was coming back to “DOOL” as Theresa to put in an appearance at Victor Kiriakis‘ funeral.
Fans last saw Theresa when she moved to California to live with her parents. She took her son, Tate, whom she shares with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) along with her.
Now, she’s back, but not for long. Lilley tells Soaps.com that she agreed to return and that Theresa’s funeral stint eventually turned into a 12-week character arc.Lilley says she was happy to return to “Days of Our Lives” but was puzzled when she didn’t get scripts for the long arc. “Listen, you told me Theresa’s going to do X, Y and Z, and I haven’t gotten the scripts.
