BTS is switching gears and preparing to fulfill their duty to their country. The band's record label, BIGHIT MUSIC, has announced that the members of BTS are on their way to fulfilling their mandatory military service requirements for the South Korean government. The group's eldest member, Jin, 29, will be the first to enlist. Under South Korean law, all able-bodied men are required to perform 18-21 months of military service. NBC News notes that the band has already been granted a two-year extension on their government-mandated military service, with top-performing athletes and musicians occasionally granted exemptions.

King Charles III's great uncle Lord Mountbatten is being accused of allegedly abusing a boy at a children's home in the 1970s. A man called Arthur Smyth has claimed that he was abused twice by Lord Mountbatten at the Kincora home in Belfast, Northern Ireland when he was 11 years old.The earl died in 1979 after the IRA detonated a bomb on his boat in Mullaghmore, Co Sligo. Smyth's lawyer Kevin Winters of KRW Law said the allegations would be taken up against state bodies responsible for Kincora home.

He also made her “pay for everything” during the span of their relationship, among several other allegations.She alleged in her post that when they first met, the idol had gotten her drunk to the point that she was “not fully conscious” and proceeded to have sexual intercourse with her that same night.The user also alleged that Ravn had used violent language while talking about another ex-girlfriend, and later posted an audio clip which she alleges is a recording of the idol expressing his desire to “stab [his ex] with a knife”.The following day (October 14), RBW Entertainment shared a brief statement announcing that it was in the process of investigating the matter.

Stray Kids’ latest mini-album ‘Maxident’ has debuted at Number One on the Billboard 200 chart.On October 16 (EST), Billboard shared that the eight-member boyband have scored their second Number One record of 2022 with their mini-album ‘Maxident’ for the week ending October 13.This marks their second time topping the chart this year after April’s ‘Oddinary’. The agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery gives Prime Video the first-window rights to exclusive TV series from Warner Bros. Discovery in France, including “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,” the first two seasons of “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” Ava DuVernay’s miniseries “DMZ” and “Peacemaker” Season 1. Also part of the pact are library TV titles, on a non-exclusive basis. These include “Legacies” (Seasons 1 through 3), “Pretty Little Liars,” “Fringe,” “One Tree Hill,” “The Originals” and “Shameless.”

It already wholly owns Lookout Point (“Happy Valley 3”), Clerkenwell Films (“Somewhere Boy”), House Productions (“Sherwood”) and most recently Firebird Pictures (“Wahala”) and is the controlling shareholder in Baby Cow (“Chivalry”). In 2018 it acquired a 51% stake in Sid Gentle, which was founded in 2013 by Sally Woodward Gentle, with Lee Morris and Henrietta Colvin.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Disney has confirmed that it will release “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” in theaters in France on Nov. 9 in spite of the country’s strict windowing regulations. The company previously decided to forgo the theatrical roll out of “Strange World” in France on Nov. 23 in favor of a launch on Disney+. The bold move was seen as an attempt to put pressure on upcoming negotiations to amend the windowing rules which are expected to kick off in January. Under the current guidelines, which were established by the French government just nine months ago, Disney’s pay-VOD window is set at four months, and subscription-based streaming window at 17 months after films debut in theaters. The only way to bypass those French rules entirely is to forgo a release in cinemas.

ITVX and Viaplay four-partner Litvinenko, which will see David Tennant playing the doomed Russian dissident, has sold into 80 territories ahead of its launch. AMC+ and Sundance Now have taken rights in the U.S., while Prime Video bagged Canada from distributor ITV Studios.

Best known for his roles in Love, Simon and The Flash, Australian actor, dancer, and singer-songwriter Keiynan Lonsdale will be headlining and co-hosting Rainbow Republic, Sydney WorldPride 2023’s closing concert on March 5. While the release date for this new album is top secret, Lonsdale disclosed that the new album charts new personal ground. Reflecting on recently turning 30, he said, “I’m thinking about love differently, I’m thinking about identity differently. “My first album was all about coming out… really accessing this identity and exploration and this fight and yearning to be understood. “Now, I’ve just been a lot more settled into myself and just a lot more self-reflection. I feel more relaxed into myself and navigating life and love outside of the secrets, and travelling to different countries, and growing into myself more as a man and loving myself more as a man, and really solidifying my values.”Rainbow Republic marks Lonsdale’s return to hosting after a decade. The former MTV VJ, who interviewed celebrities and hosted parties and events, is relieved that he would not be doing it alone, with Melbourne-based non-binary singer-songwriter G Flip sharing hosting duty.Not only does Rainbow Republic promise to be the biggest audience of Lonsdale’s career, but it will also be his first-ever Mardi Gras.“I’ve always been away from the country and when I lived here I was too scared to go, to be completely candid with you,” he says. “It’s always been this thing that I’ve been looking forward to being able to access and enjoy.
