Customer opinions been mixed after a Fish and Chip shop launched a new vegan product. Papa's Fish and Chips recently created their battered tofu dished dubbed 'To-Fish' - which has split their customers.

The chain, which has restaurants across the UK, has built a reputation as one of the nation best chippies. In 2015, they opened the world's largest fish and chip shop in Hull.

Two years later, they won the title of 'Britain's Best Fish & Chips' following a search from the BBC. Now, Papa's is back in the headlines as their unique new product has caused a stir on social media, reports Hull Live.

Announcing the new menu addition on Facebook, Papa's posted: "This is To-Fish (battered Tofu), our Vegan alternative. It's delicious." The announcement caused an ruckus among customers who commented on the post with a variety of opinions on the 'To-Fish'.
