The prime minister has been criticised for ditching the government's 'stay home' message for a new slogan urging people to 'stay alert'.

The Prime Minister will tell the country to “stay alert, control the virus and save lives” in a new slogan when he outlines his “road map” to a new normality during an address to the nation on Sunday.

But First minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon said she would continue to use the stay at home message, while first minister of Wales Mark Drakeford insisted the initial message had 'not gone away'.
