Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has left one fan asking 'is this a joke?' as she appeared to get emotional on set with her 'Platt fam'.

The actress recently celebrated her 40th birthday but despite the occasion, it was business as usual as she headed to work. Tina, who is known for playing Sarah Barlow - nee Platt - in the ITV soap previously shared a picture of herself on set in the Platts' home, No.8 Coronation Street, with Helen Worth, Sue Nicholls, Jack P Shepherd, Ben Price and Julia Goulding, who all play members of her on-screen family.

They posed on the sofa behind a birthday cake for Tina. "Yesterday treated to a gorgeous surprise celebration by my wonderful Platt fam," Tina typed alongside the sweet snap. Meanwhile, Paddy shared the post and sweetly said: "I adore these people," with a number of red heart emojis. But away from the return rumours, Tina has since returned to Instagram to share more snaps from her surprise birthday treat at work.
