Clyde boss Ian McCall admits Saturday’s League Two clash at Bonnyrigg Rose is a huge game for both clubs. And McCall reckons there are four clubs in a battle to avoid the Pyramid play-off – which is currently against either East Kilbride or Brechin City. The Bully Wee gaffer reckons Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Forfar means their hosts and East Fife are safe, but Elgin City, Bonnyrigg, Stranraer and themselves face a real fight in their remaining eight games.Clyde are bottom, six points adrift, but can cut that deficit in half by beating eighth-placed Rose on Saturday.McCall’s men are the form side going into the clash at New Dundas Park, with three wins in their last six, while Rose have taken just two points from the same sequence. He said: “It’s a big game on Saturday, for both.“The form table showed that in the last six games we were top and Forfar were second-top, so it’s never going to be easy.“But it’s not all doom and gloom.

We’re going to Bonnyrigg Rose on Saturday and if we win that we’ll have won three out of four, and that’s form to compete to win a title, not down the bottom.“I think there are still three or four clubs in the mix.

For me, now, Forfar and East Fife are safe, so it’s a case of four clubs.“We need to get a little bit closer, and we can only do so by winning games.“If we managed to win on Saturday, since we made an awful lot of changes in January – which is never easy – that would be 12 games we’ve played, and I think it might be 18 or 19 points, which would see you at the top end of the table.“It’s a big game for us, but we’re very aware that it’s a big game for the opposition as well.“We’re very aware that it’s a crucial three points.”Forfar on Saturday fought back from Liam Scullion’s early opener
