He's the lambasted husband that has been the talk of Ramsbottom after his wife fumed over the price he paid for a whole leg of lamb down Tesco.

In what has become known as "Lambgate", residents in the Bury town have become so worried about the fate of "Clive" that they started campaigns like #SaveClive and CliveAid after his wife fumed about the price he paid for the meat joint on Facebook.

But now, in an exclusive interview with the MEN, Clive's wife Rozalia Linder has sought to reassure the public that "Clive is alive" - although he's apparently not best pleased that he's now an internet sensation. It swiftly went viral, with hundreds of comments debating the issue, and people starting to worry about Clive's whereabouts after she joked she was holding him hostage after the incident.
