Christmas cheer guaranteed for Newmains as festive lights switch-on confirmed

Christmas cheer is guaranteed for one North Lanarkshire village as it gets ready to switch on its festive lights.This year’s Christmas lights event in Newmains has been confirmed for Sunday, November 13, with the big switch-on taking place at around 4pm.As with last year, local firm Jordan Electrics have donated a considerable amount for this year’s lights while members of Newmains & District Community Council have been fundraising throughout the year.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
