CBBC star Chelsie Whibley has died after a long battle with cystic fibrosis, with her family paying tribute to the “gorgeous” actress.
Chelsie, 30, died after fighting with cystic fibrosis - an inherited condition that causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system.
The former actress, from Denmead, Hants, was rushed to Southampton General Hospital yesterday and died around 2.45pm. Her heartbroken husband Glyn, 33, has paid tribute to the former star, saying: “I’m afraid this is the hardest thing I have ever had to write. “This morning Chelsie took a rapid turn for the worse and became unresponsive.
