The former Hollyoaks star is taking part in the latest series of the E4 show and is on the coach with fellow celebs including Birds of a Feather stars Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph and Geordie Shore's Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale.
The show regularly sees pairs voted off the coach by the other participants, and Paul has admitted he found the process "brutal".
The 43-year-old said of what happened after he was voted off: "I had to get a bit of counselling. It taps into a lot of stuff – like rejection.
It’s brutal. He added: "You’ve got to be thick-skinned. They’re not your mates.” The celebrities travelled around Portugal and Paul's exit will air later in the series.
