Boris Johnson
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

DESSERT queen Nadiya Hussain has confessed she'd like to give the Prime Minister a very special cake. During her episode of Kate Garraway's Life Stories, Bake Off champ Nadiya, 37, also insisted she could run the country better than Boris Johnson.

When asked by Kate, 54, about the huge success she's enjoyed since winning the 2015 series of GBBO, Nadiya replied: "The word I would use to describe my career is serendipitous - it was a happy accident." But Good Morning Britain host Kate said: "More people watched your victorious episode in 2015 than voted for the Conservatives in the election of that year. "And by the way, the Conservatives won so you were more popular than David Cameron." Laughing, Nadiya replied: "Because cake is more interesting than politics!" When Kate asked Nadiya if she'd like to have a go at running the country, she quickly said: "Absolutely no way but I reckon I could do a better job." Kate continued: "It suddenly feels like cake has become part of politics, people are ambushing people with cakes, cakes are suddenly discussed in Westminster and parliament.
