Cash stolen in knifepoint robbery at Spar in Droylsden

Police were called out to deal with reports of a knifepoint robbery at the Spar on Sunnyside Road, in Droylsden, at around 11pm on Thursday night (June 3).

Officers were sent out to the scene and discovered that a quantity of cash had been taken from the store. Greater Manchester Police says there were no injuries following the incident.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing a large police presence outside the convenience store following the raid. They also saw officers patrolling the Clough Road, Bell Clough Road and Albion Drive areas, according to reports on social media from
