A 12-year-old boy has been banned from a town centre after being arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault. The boy and a 17-year-old girl were detained by officers in Wigan on Saturday (November 6).

Police said they were arrested on suspicion of 'numerous offences including robbery, assault and public order'. Both have been interviewed and released under investigation.
