A man was killed after being hit by a 'speeding' driver who then fled the scene, a coroner has heard. Gavin Andrews, 34, died after being struck by a car in Walmersley Road, Bury, on the evening of November 9.

An inquest into the death of Mr Andrews, who lived in Tottington, was opened at Rochdale Coroner's Court on Monday (November 22).
