Omar Metwally will be back as Mark Lindor for season three of Big Sky, but his role is going to be smaller than before.
TVLine is reporting that Omar will return as the U.S. Marshal, but he won’t be a series regular in the upcoming season.
Showrunner Elwood Reid says the change in Omar‘s status on the show is due to a scheduling conflict. “At the end of [Season 2], Omar came to me and he had this opportunity to be in an off-season play.
And I said ‘sure,’” Reid said. “I didn’t know if we were coming back. I didn’t know when we would come back.” Lindor was written out of the beginning of the season so that Omar can appear in a play at Lincoln Center Theater in New York City.
