Ashley Judd reflected on the cost of standing up for her morals. The 55-year-old actress said that she lost out on multiple jobs, including one she described as “big” and life changing, as a result of speaking out against Donald Trump and voicing support for victims of sexual violence. Ashley was one of multiple celebrities to take the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative on Monday (September 18) to reaffirm her dedication to voicing her beliefs. She stressed that she opposed the “boys will be boys” mentality in favor of holding them accountable for their misdeeds. “And frankly, I’m fed up with the emphasis being on building resilience in girls and women because we’ve gotta look upstream and see from whence this need for resilience comes,” she continued.
