Android app could be secretly draining your bank account through your smartphone or tablet. Despite Google's best efforts, malware, ransomware and fleeceware keep managing to sneak in the back door and appear on the Play Store where they are downloaded by millions of Android users.

Forty million to be exact. Known as SnapTube, the app promotes itself as an easy way to download videos from YouTube and Facebook – and has been downloaded more than 40 million times, reports Express.co.uk.

SnapTube is free to download - but that doesn't mean it won’t cost you in the long run. A new report from UpStreamSystems has found that SnapTube quietly signs up users for premium services without their knowledge.
