Alison Hammond enjoys 'escape' after being 'snubbed' before return to screens - and not on This Morning

Alison Hammond has been seen enjoying an 'escape' during her time away from This Morning. The presenter was last seen at the helm of the ITV daytime show last Friday (September 8) as she was reunited with Dermot O'Leary after a short stint hosting with Holly Willoughby.

But while away from the small screen, it appears Alison, who was recently 'snubbed' at the National Television Awards after missing out on the 'best presenter' gong as well as a team award with This Morning, has been enjoying the great outdoors and some time to relax as she gave a glimpse at what she's been up to on social media.

The 48-year-old has been enjoying a break away, at a "party house" just outside of Bristol. On her Instagram story, she wrote: "Had [a] lovely couple of days in the best party house ever.

No parties for me though, just a lovely chilled time," as she showed off the home, giving a glimpse at the hot tub on offer, as well as the garden space.
