Alejandro Garnacho hits out in now-deleted post after Manchester United loss

Alejandro Garnacho has hit back at a social media troll who mocked his performance in Manchester United's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.

The 20-year-old started United's latest Premier League defeat but was substituted in the second half shortly after Mohamed Salah had added to Luis Diaz's first-half brace to put Arne Slot's side in cruise control.

However, Erik ten Hag's decision to substitute the winger was met with a chorus of boos by the Old Trafford support. Things, though, didn't get much better for Garnacho on Monday night as he was targeted by trolls on social media, with one account on X, formerly known as Twitter, posting a video - titled 'Alejandro Garnacho - season so far' - highlighting his mistakes in United's games against Fulham, Brighton & Hove Albion and Liverpool. But the creator of the fail compilation was having none of it and told the United star: "Focus on your first touch and dribbling you b*m.
