Aldi ditches popular two-metre pig in blanket and introduces 'Pigs in Beds' and other 'porky delights'

It's been a sought-after product for sausage lovers during the festive season, but sadly Aldi's two-metre pig in blanket is no more.

The retailer has decided to ditch the popular product this Christmas, much to the dismay of shoppers. But all is not lost as there are some new award-winning 'porky delights' up for grabs at the supermarket - Pigs in Beds, Stags in Quilts - and the return of the Chilli Pigs in Blankets.

The retailer says it has 'upgraded its sausage selection' – 'not just wrapping them in a snug blanket, but instead tucking them into a cosy bed'.
