Manchester City are in the Middle East this week as they bid to create history in the FIFA Club World Cup. City managed to secure themselves a place in the prestigious tournament after winning the UEFA Champions League and are now set to take on champions from across the globe.
As this is the Blues' debut in the competition, they have never won the Club World Cup. However, Pep Guardiola has a good history with the tournament having lifted it on three occasions - twice with Barcelona and once with Bayern Munich.
His experience could therefore be key in Saudi Arabia as the Blues aim to forget their worries in the Premier League. Goalkeeper - Stefan Ortega City will play two matches this week whether they beat Urawa Red Diamonds or not.
You would expect goalkeeping duties to be split between the games meaning Ortega is perhaps most likely to line up for the semi-final. Defenders - Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake Guardiola has continued to experiment with Josko Gvardiol at left-back but, in a bid to win this tournament, he may want to revert to a time-tested approach by playing Ake there instead.
