Addiction support group receives special flag to honour its work helping North Lanarkshire residents

The important and "amazing" work of a group supporting people affected by addiction has been honoured during a link-up with a sister organisation.Members of North Lanarkshire Recovery Community were joined by friends in recovery from Borders Recovery Community to receive the Recoverist Flag.Also in attendance at the event in Motherwell's Forgewood Community centre were representatives of the team from Scottish Recovery Consortium, who came up with the idea of passing a Recoverist Flag around recovery communities across Scotland to showcase the work being carried out.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
