The family of a young girl are singing the praises of a key worker in Lanarkshire who befriended her.Becky Fraser, mum of three-year-old Remy, commended supermarket worker Sandra McLaughlan describing her as the “loveliest lady”, after she surprised her daughter with an Easter bonnet she had made along with a bag filled with treats.Sandra, who works at Asda in Newmains, has formed a special bond with little Remy over the last few years.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

I enjoy chatting to her and just wanted to make her something special for Easter.”And Remy was delighted with the gift from her checkout pal, according to her mu who revealed that she won’t let her mum go to any checkout other than Sandra’s when they are in the store.Becky said: “We do our shopping every Sunday and my little girl, Remy, absolutely loves coming along to see Sandra.
