Improvements made to a "neglected" and "unsafe" Paisley park which was becoming a fly-tipping spot have been welcomed by councillors.Work has recently taken place to cut back bushes at St James' Park and surrounding areas, including the cholera monument, off Greenock Road.Many residents had complained the greenery around the outside of the park had grown out of control making the site look abandoned.Others insisted the overgrown bushes around the monument were making the pavement along Greenock Road a safety concern.
