Manchester city centre flooded after another day of rain on Tuesday (January 2) as a huge puddle was hilariously renamed 'Lake Primark' and the 'Market Street Canal'.
People were dodging the pavement beside the Market Street tram stop on Tuesday evening (January 2) after hours of downpours caused the busy shopping street to flood.

However, it seemed that not everyone's sense of humour was dampened by the drizzle, as the flooded street was posted across social media, and referred to as 'Lake Primark' and the 'Market Street Canal'. @PrestwichBlue posted a picture of the flooding, which was captioned:"Market Street tonight.
