A big-hearted bunch of volunteers will be delivering fish suppers to dozens of elderly and vulnerable people in Hamilton tonight (Wednesday).Whitehill Community Support Group was recently formed by people who live in the area.Their priority is to make sure that pensioners, vulnerable individuals, and families don’t go without food and vital supplies during this period of lockdown.Friends Leesa Archibald, Sue Rodgers, Pamela Sneddon and Mhairi Kemp have been working alongside local businesses to create a foodbank-style operation helping people during the coronavirus crisis.Following strict government guidelines on cleanliness and social distancing, they have already delivered over 80 food packages to households throughout the area.Hot meals
