Two men released without charge following death of woman found on fire

Two men arrested in connection to the death of Sarah Hussein have been released without charge. Emergency services were called to East Street in Bury on July 23 following reports a woman had suffered ‘severe’ burns.

Police bail has now extended for one of the men. The other two men have since been released without charge. They remain under investigation.

At the time, Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Clegg, of GMP’s Major Incidents Team, called the incident ‘truly devastating’.
