TUI issues warning for Manchester Airport ahead of school holidays

Tui has issued an update for anyone flying from Manchester Airport this summer. It comes as the airport’s major £1.3billion transformation project continues.

The project entered its final phase earlier this year and is expected to be complete next year. In 2021 the extension of Terminal 2 opened, doubling the size of the terminal, and the second phase wills ee the original Terminal 2 building refurbished, ensuring customers can enjoy a modern and state-of-the-art passenger experience throughout.

As the project is ongoing it means some areas of the airport are under construction and do you look different if it’s been a while since you last flew.

Tui has reassured passengers that the flying process is still the same as usual.
