A body has been recovered after an incident in Lancashire that saw mountain rescuers deployed, police have confirmed. The occurrence happened on Saturday (September 3) and saw officers from Lancashire Constabulary team up with Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue personnel near Barley, overlooking Pendle Hill.
On Wednesday (September 7) police confirmed that a body was found during the incident. They said it was a non-suspicious death.
Rossendale and Pendle MRT reported that it was called on Saturday and that they were contacted by police to assist with the incident.
