TOWIE star Joey Turner has revealed his edgy new hairstyle in a sassy shot on his Instagram page. The reality TV star, 20, showcased his newly-shaved head in the dramatic image, which showed him puffing on a cigarette.

The close-cropped locks were a marked contrast to The Only Way Is Essex alumni Joey's dark, bushy brows and crisp white T-Shirt, bearing the slogan Dover Street Market.

Joey, who has sparked fan concern due to his slender frame, finished off his stylish look with black nail polish. In his caption, he wrote the contemplative Latin phrase, "memento mori." This translates as 'remember you must die' and a dark reminder of the inevitability of death.

Yet despite the use of classical language, his fans seemed more concerned with the image, with one writing: "That’s hot."
