ESCAPE to the Chateau fans were thrilled to see a sneak peek behind the scenes of the new series. The Channel 4 show follows Dick and Angel Strawbridge's journey to renovate their iconic French home.

The new photo showed the lovable duo stood in their garden as they braved the dull weather conditions. Wearing raincoats, the couples were seen having an intense chat while the camera operators filmed them.

The Chateau's official Twitter page wrote: "A drizzly throwback to filming the latest series of Escape to The Chateau.
