McCoo artist Steven Brown has revealed he'll still be able to pick up a brush despite suffering TWO strokes.The Ayrshire painter was whisked into hospital last week after suffering a stroke at home.The 49-year-old has broken his silence since the ordeal telling worried fans that he suffered two strokes in the past six months.His official page has this week told how Mr Brown is recovering at home and is in a stable condition.

On his personal Facebook page the artist told fans in an emotional post that he still feels "very weak" and that even writing the post was a challenge.It comes after his official page told fans he was recovering at home and in stable condition.The Kilmarnock born artist also thanks his fans and members of the art community for their well-wishes and support whilst he bounced back from the stroke.And he vowed to cut down on smoking in a bid to get back to full health.Taking to his Facebook Mr Brown told anxious fans: "It seems I've had two strokes, one about six months ago and of course last week."I still feel very weak even texting is a challenge."I have read EVERY message, everywhere and I cannot begin to say how that makes me me feel."I feel totally blessed for all the love and support that you have all shown.

Thank god I still have use of my painting hand because if it was the other - omg."So the plan is to rest but seriously cut the fags as I especially hit the big 50 next month."Guys from the bottom of my heart thank you and god bless you all."Mr Brown shot to fame with his colourful animal paintings the most well known being his outlandish depictions of Highland Cows.The artist revealed in June 2020 that sales of his work had jumped by nearly a third during lockdown.The Ayrshire Live app is
