Kilmarnock have sacked boss Tommy Wright after 10 months in charge. Killie announced the manager had been "relieved of his duties" following Saturday's abandoned clash with Dunfermline.
His side lie fifth in the Championship, five points behind leaders Arbroath having played a game less. Kilmarnock were being held 1-1 at home by Dunfermline when the match was called off with thick fog descending on Rugby Park.
A statement from director Billy Bowie confirmed Wright's departure.He said: “It is with regret that we have had to take this decision as I know how much Tommy wanted to bring success to Kilmarnock.“We thank him for his hard work and dedication during his time at Rugby Park and wish him all the best for the future.Get all the latest
