A former Ayrshire pub could be transformed into a new home with blueprints showing the owner's plans to retain the bar.The Crown Inn has been earmarked to be radically overhauled to make it fit to be a dwelling under proposals lodged this week.Sheila Sinon plans to turn the Muirkirk boozer on Main Street into a four-bedroom property complete with master bedroom and two en suites.At the heart of the grand plan is an ambition to retain a bar in the same spot as it was when the pub operated.A fourth bedroom would accommodate guests and double up as a TV room.East Ayrshire Council planners will rule on the proposals at a future date.
