Emmy Award-winning media company Religion of Sports, founded by NFL quarterback Tom Brady, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan and filmmaker Gotham Chopra, is moving deeper into film and TV scripted content.
The new department will be led by film producer Ryan Stowell, who produced Manchester by the Sea and Naked Singularity, which stars John Boyega, Olivia Cooke, Bill Skarsgård and Ed Skrein.
Stowell most recently served as senior vp of production at Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions. Religion of Sports, led by CEO Ameeth Sankaran, already has credits that includes Chopra-helmed Kobe Bryant's Muse, Showtime's Shut Up and Dribble, Apple TV+'s The Greatness Code and Facebook Watch's Tom vs.
