Stacey Chanelle Claire Solomon (born 4 October 1989) is an English singer and media personality. In 2009, she finished in third place on the sixth series of The X Factor, and gained a number one single on the UK Singles Chart when her fellow The X Factor finalists released a cover of "You Are Not Alone". Get Me Out of Here!. Her debut single, a cover of "Driving Home for Christmas", was released on 19 December 2011. Solomon then released her debut album Shy on 18 April 2015. In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.

Many of us have experienced how dedicated and caring Scotland’s healthcare professionals are – and there’s still time to show your appreciation for those who have gone the extra mile.Voting is underway for the People’s Choice Award sponsored by Alpha Solway in the 2022 Scottish Health Awards, run by the Daily Record in partnership with NHS Scotland to recognise the work of some of the most dedicated staff in the country.The People’s Choice Award specifically recognises individuals and teams who have responded so magnificently to the challenge of caring for people during the pandemic, while maintaining essential services and care.

Our judging panel has selected the most inspiring nominees, and now it’s up to Record readers to vote for their winner in this category.

Voting will close on October 16 at 23:59. If ever there was a time to celebrate the healing and caring heroes who have been dealing with the pandemic it is now.While pandemic restrictions have lifted for most of us, those on the frontline of health and caring are working as hard as ever.Doctors, nurses, carers, support staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help and care for others during these difficult years while keeping up with essential services.Their invaluable skills and expertise have helped people in their care, healing them, looking after their needs, comforting them, and coming up with clever solutions, as well as saving lives.So please cast your votes – it’s your award so please use your vote to shine a light on the unsung heroes who have given us so much.The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on November 3 at the O2 Academy in Edinburgh.
