And one little known hack that can help get your laundry dry without any of the added extra expense of using the tumble dryer or turning on the heating is to invest in a dehumidifier.
In fact, a good dehumidifier will only cost you around 1.2p an hour to run, compared to the £1.30 it would cost you to run the tumble dryer for an hour, reports BirminghamLive.
And drying clothes isn't the only thing it is good for, as it is known for getting rid of condensation, dampness and mould that comes with drying clothes indoors.
