The cost of living is soaring and if there's one place you'll notice it more it's at the supermarket checkout. Grocery prices have been climbing for quite some time and there's growing concern that rising inflation is having a disproportionate impact on poorer households.

It's an issue that's been taken up by poverty campaigner Jack Monroe this week after she highlighted how official inflation figures don't reflect the impact of price increases on different income groups. Also, how she used to be able to get 10 vegetable stock cubes for 10p from Sainsbury's Basics, but these are no longer available.
