Maggie Gyllenhaal won the USC Libraries’ Scripter Award tonight for her adaptation of Netflix’s The Lost Daughter, based on the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante, making Gyllenhaal the frontrunner to take home the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
