The latest coronavirus infection rates across Greater Manchester - seven boroughs have seen an increase in cases

There were 93 new cases of the virus recorded there in the last seven days, an increase of 86 per cent week-on-week. Infection rates are also following an upward trend in Rochdale, Tameside and Salford.

The rate of infection in Rochdale is now 44.1, with 98 cases recorded in the last seven days - a jump of 27 from the previous week.

There have been 95 positive tests for coronavirus in Salford in the last week, with the ward of Higher Broughton deemed to be the hotspot.
