An Openshaw bar and restaurant has been ordered to after being found to be 'operating as a nightclub'.Tinapa, in Ashton Old Road, must shut until further notice after what the council described as 'repeated breaches' of Covid-19 guidelines.Licensing officers visited the Caribbean restaurant on Sunday September 6 following 'serious concerns' raised by residents, the town hall said."Team members saw the premises was operating as a nightclub," the council said."A DJ was playing, no patrons were eating and many were drinking with little to no social distancing in effect."Upwards of 20 people were observed congregating outside the venue to come in with no social distancing, as well as large groups of mixed households being permitted to come.
