Disgusted Dave Cormack has urged insurance companies to play fair after Aberdeen’s refused to pay out over the effects of the coronavirus – despite the club having cover to safeguard against a pandemic.The Dons chairman admitted he was hugely disappointed the Pittodrie club will not be paid out beyond April after their insurers, believed to be Aviva, moved the goalposts.Aberdeen’s insurance is due for renewal on April 30 but Cormack has learned that the wording of the policy will change to remove the ‘pandemic’ clause, meaning his club won’t be able to claim on any losses sustained through the coronavirus chaos from May 1.Cormack said: “As a diligent, well‐run organisation, we chose comprehensive business interruption cover and believe we
