Dave Cormack backs SPFL inquiry as Aberdeen chairman reveals late Neil Doncaster call on day of crucial vote

Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has added to the calls for an independent inquiry into the SPFL. Rangers have called for an outside probe into the voting process on ending the lower league seasons early.

Hearts chairman Ann Budge has backed that, though disagrees that chief executive Neil Doncaster should be suspended. While Cormack was clear that he didn't feel Doncaster had pushed Aberdeen into their yes vote, having received assurances about a vote on ending the top flight, he added his voice to the calls for outside scrutiny.
