In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she presented the I'm a Celebrity spin-off series I'm a Celebrity: Extra Camp.

Tess Daly shut down by fans after 'bad' comment as she's seen in throwback snap with Vernon Kay

Tess Daly has been shut down by fans as she shared a couple of throwback snaps of herself and her husband Vernon Kay. The presenter took to social media with pictures of a magazine cover and spread the couple did back in the noughties.

Stockport-born Tess and Bolton-born Vernon were seen posing up a storm on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine back in December 2007 with the teaser for the interview with the pair reading: "Tess & Vern: 'Our red-hot rules of love and lust'." Tess, now 53, could be seen wearing a one-shoulder glimmering gold dress with her trademark blonde locks styled into tight curls.

Vernon, now 50, was standing behind his wife and could be seen giving his best 'blue steel' look towards the camera while sporting a simple white shirt. But on her Instagram Story, it appears Tess made a typo when sharing the post as the Strictly Come Dancing host wrote: "Nothing like a reminder of your bad hair that lives on the internet [single tear crying emoji]. @vernonkay giving his best blue steel [winkining face emoji]." And her fans and followers were quick to respond to the post, with many still thinking she'd said her hair was 'bad' before editing the post to read 'big'. @ladyofthemanor77 said: "I’m not even joking Tess… your ‘bad hair’ would be my dream hair!!!!!
