Supermarket giant Tesco has issued a warning to anybody who buys frozen food. The retailer says packs of a popular product could be 'unsafe', and have urged people not to eat them.

A batch of the supermarket giant's frozen croissants has been recalled as there may have been a mix-up. Certain packets of Tesco's All Butter croissants may contain almond croissants - and the nut will not be declared on the packaging.

A Facebook post from Tesco said: "We’re recalling one batch code of Tesco frozen All Butter Croissants x6 as they may contain Tesco frozen Almond Croissants.

This means that almond won’t be declared on the packaging." READ MORE: Woman instantly gets £125 added to her bank account using 5-minute Martin Lewis tip Anyone who has bought the item and has a nut allergy is advised to "please don’t eat it".
