Tesco flooded with over 500 complaints as shoppers are unable to buy food

Supermarket giant Tesco has been bombarded with shopper complaints. The retailer has received more than 500 complains this morning, as shoppers found themselves unable to buy essentials.

Tesco has issued an apology to its customers after a glitch meant people weren't able to process or amend their baskets online.

More customers ran into trouble when trying to book a delivery slot. Issues began at around 11am today, according to the website DownDetector.
